IMPROV FOR BUSINESS

Improv isn't just about comedy and getting laughs. In fact good improv isn't about the 'gag' or how high you can hit the 'laugh-o'meter', but about being in the moment, saying 'yes, and' to offers and about commitment to see where the story takes you.

The fundamentals of Improv that make for great entertainment on stage, can also be applied to everyday life, especially at work! I can help you, your staff and your company succeed in business by facilitating laughing, learning and growing together through improv.

It's easy, it's fun, and I can help facilitate the how.

7. Finding the 'play' in your day

IMPROV COMEDY INSTITUTE - CORE CLASSES

Using the much beloved Improv Comedy Institute method, explore and work your way through all four Core classes.

You're no stranger to improv, but drop in's are no longer enough for you. Whether you are looking to grow as an actor and improviser, or you're not a performer at all - you are someone who can see the benefit of applying improv to your day to day work or life, and the Core classes are the next progressive step for you.

As you make your way through the workshops, you will build and grow as an improviser, gaining momentum and tools for you to approach performance, stagecraft and public speaking with confidence and creativity, all while developing solid communication skills. You will apply the 'yes, and' mentality that allows you to problem solve, communicate and think outside of the box in any given situation.

Each class consists of 8 hours of training. Registration required.

Loch Land Entertainment would like to acknowledge in gratitude and respect that we live, create and conduct business in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1725. The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
